Suffering Has a Purpose in God’s Plan
This was a really informative and interesting conversation that took place in my Building Christian Community in a Time of Crisis, Change, and Social Distancing class through Austin Graduate School of Theology (what a mouth full haha!) if anyone is interested in giving it a listen!! It’s so cool being able to have an online class with fellow believers all over the world!! Suffering indeed has a purpose in God’s redemptive plan, it is used to transition one from an old creation to a new creation in Christ. A purification process so to speak. God is so so GOOD, He is always making meaning in all that He does even when it doesn’t quite make sense to our little human minds!
New Age Beliefs: All Too Common
This was a shocking read…more than half of professing Christians (61%) hold at least 1 of these 4 New Age beliefs. I wonder how many more are held by professing Christians unknowingly that are not listed in this research study. Ignorance is not bliss, it is disobedience to God Almighty whether one is aware of it or not. There is no reason for Christians to be reading their horoscopes, believing in karma/reincarnation, visiting psychics, participating in necromancy, meditating to “empty your mind”, practicing yoga, believing in religious pluralism, practicing ‘creative visualization,’ mindlessly repeating prayers, and/or believing spiritual energy is located in all physical things.
Mindful of The Media
Proverbs 15:14 (KJV) “The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.”
As born-again Christians, we have the Living God indwelling our human vessels through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit allows us to be more and more Christ-like everyday if we listen to Him and His subtle nudges. This is why it is SO CRUCIAL that we as Christians become very mindful of the kind of media we entertain ourselves with on a daily basis. Do the movies, music, TV Shows, books, magazines, social media posts, and conversations you engage with on a daily basis bring Glory to God or to the world/flesh? Do you want to have a true and lasting relationship with God Almighty through the power of the Holy Spirit or do you want to grieve the Spirit and quench your conscience? Prayers of a righteous man availeth much! (James 5:16) Do you feel like you have grown distant from God lately? Maybe it has something to do with what you are filling your mind and spirit with. Remember: the wise seek knowledge and understanding, while the fools fill up on trash and nonsense.
Think You Can Be a Christian and Do Yoga??
If there are any Christians out there practicing yoga, I would suggest researching into the origins a little further before practicing it anymore!
It’s origins are in ancient Egypt and YHWH didn’t take His people out of Egypt for no reason. You cannot separate Hinduism from yoga, or yoga from Hinduism. Yoga means to “yoke with” created by ancient Hindus in order to yoke with Brahman (which consists of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva aka “Lord of Yoga”, 3 of the 330 million Hindu gods).
Please check out this young lady’s testimony on how God saved her out of the depths of the satan’s lies. We are called to NOT partake in the darkness of the world. We are called to be set apart from the world, not look exactly like it!
God is SO GOOD! Pray for discernment always. Ignorance does not purify the system from its attachment to spiritual falsehood. Hallelujah! 🙏

Will You Listen to The Spirit?
This is much too important of a message not to share with the body of Christ. God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. He has a job assigned for each and everyone of us, will you choose His will or your own? God is GOOD and He will never fail us, He has proven this much already. It is our reasonable service to present ourselves to Him as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him. Will you listen to His Spirit when He dictates your next step? 🙏
Are you a Lukewarm Christian??
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. For, “In just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. (Hebrews 10:36-39) Jesus will spit out ALL lukewarm Christians. Do your work while you still have time! ❤

THIS is what the Holy Spirit looks like!! Knows the Bible in and out. I pray to God for this boldness and deep spiritual understanding! Man’s opinion doesn’t hold a candle to that of the Holy Almighty God! HALLELUJAH!! ❤🙏 ✝ ALL GLORY TO THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB!
